I keep seeing references to widening the tires for stability on the CTB. I have a JD 4300 and looking at it, the rear rims have about 7-8 inches inside and out so reversing the rims doesn't appear to be the answer. Maybe I'm missing something. Could somebody tell me how to go about widening the tires. I have a lot of slopes plus a pond dam and it makes me nervous to get up on some of them. The tires are R4s.
